Whatever you do, don't play poker with money you can't afford to lose. I just lost hundreds of dollars ( that I can afford to lose though) by ruthlessly playing a game I barely understand yet, against professionals. What was I thinking?
The good part is that I get my salary soon, so I'll do fine as long as I don't play that game again.
Here's a tip for you if you ever consider getting into the same situation, or already are there: quit playing :p. Just stop. You've already screwed up and can't do anything about it. Start a new life. But whatever you, do not keep doing whatever you're doing.
I'm usually not this irresponsible, but I don't know what happened here. I snapped I suppose. Talk about consequences of ego-depletion.
